From torpedoes which race underwater, to rockets which leave the Earth's atmosphere, the deadly guided missile has a fascinating history.

Our collection, one of the world's most comprehensive, reveals the ingenious methods designed to propel missiles, control their flight path, and guide them to their intended target.

Here at RAF Museum Cosford you will find a complete set of World War II German test equipment which foreshadows the missile technologies of today. Different types of missile are displayed throughout the Museum, with a number of later types to be found in the National Cold War Exhibition.
