"My four year old daughter and i thought we could make a 'quick visit' to the RAF Museum London but over four hours later we still hadn't seen everything!

"I have just returned from a trip to London and was fortunate enough to visit RAF Hendon whilst there.
My advice to anyone in or near London for a few days - GO THERE! Its even FREE.
What an incredible collection of aeroplanes, charted through history, with interactive displays, movies and games that appeals to all ages.
The museum follows the first developments of flight, some of those original aeroplanes having been manufactured incredibly in the same building that stands now in the museum grounds, moving from WW1, WW2 to the current day. Flight simulators, and movies, great food and coffee, even a fully stocked museum shop. We spent a great afternoon there. So much effort has been taken to display and inform, and multiple languages, very knowledgable and friendly staff.
Simply put - Hendon is the History of Flight brought to life. Just amazing, and it crowned a great few days in London. Thank you!"

"Fantastic day, so much to see and a history lesson like no other.Lancaster Bomber made me go goosebumps with pride.And the shop has so much to buy. Would recommend to any one who loves their history."

"We visited RAF Hendon on sat with 2 13 year old boys. Both are in the ATC. They thoroughly enjoyed the visit, as did we. The exhibits were brilliant, I never realised how many there would be and the information on each was just enough.
What they really loved though was the simulator rides."

"I and a couple of work colleagues attended your short service this morning to remember our fallen servicemen & women.
Can I say that I was completely taken a back by it, the setting, the words & the attendance of the local schools was above and beyond what I expected & have ever experienced. The Last Post echoing around the Bomber Hall was a fitting tribute & all involved & the trumpeteer should be commended.
I lost my brother in 1995 whilst he was serving in Bosnia & wanted to do something special & different today. You helped me succeed in that. I shall be back next year.
