Wild Bird Displays
8th - 9th August 2016
Back by popular demand on 8 & 9 August and 11 to 13 August the Museum will be hosting ‘Wild Bird Week’, in conjunction with Eden Falconry
, when we will be displaying some of nature’s most beautiful and majestic flying predators on our helipad.
Suitable for children of all ages, the museum will hold daily a free falconry display at 1pm, showcasing a different set of birds each day: either falcons, owls, hawks or eagles.
Should the weather prove to be inclement , if it's too windy or raining, when an outdoor display is due to occur we will hold a static display on the helipad. Instead children will have the opportunity watch members of the Eden Falconry team handle an owl or an eagle instead and ask them questions about these beautiful birds.
