Series of activities and events highlighting the contribution and experience of women in the Air Force.
Our series will commence on 13th May with a display of the Museum's latest temporary exhibition, Women of the Royal Air Force, in the Sydney Camm Area of the Museum's Historic Hangars.
If you have any youngsters in your party 12 years old or younger don't forget to pick up our free puzzle sheet about Women of the Royal Air Force. Each child who completes the form and drops it into the post box located at the exhibition will go into a monthly prize draw to win £25.00 worth of prizes from the museum shop!
Our winner for May was Emily Wettasinghe from Northolt and in June Rebecca Coleman of Hemel Hempstead. July's winner is Helena Procopis from London. August's winner is Beth Martin from Hertfordshire. September's Chloe Clunwick from Erith, in Kent. October's winner was Alice Weller from Aldenham in Hertfordshire and November's winner was Sam Thomas Smith from Bourne in Lincolnshire. Congratulations to each of them.
December's draw will take place 1st week in January, so don't forget, if you have any young people in your party, to pick up a free trail booklet when visiting the Museum during December.
Also, don't forget that if you are a woman currently serving in the RAF or who has served in the RAF, WRAF, or the WAAF we would love to share your stories with our online visitors through our Women of the Air Force Interactive Forum.
