A photograph of Senior Aircraftsman Telford taken during a studio shoot. Corporal Nicholas Howe has sought to reflect jungle operations; one of the many environments within which Royal Air Force Regiment personnel are required to operate. The Royal Air Force Regiment is an elite fighting force trained to protect Royal Air Force personnel, bases and high-value assets. Since its formation in 1942, the Royal Air Force Regiment and its 'Gunners' - as they are known - have seen action around the world in operational theatres such as Bosnia, Sierra Leone, Kuwait, Iraq and are currently deployed in Afghanistan.
