RADAR Magazine is a quarterly publication of the RAF Museum, bringing you access behind-the-scenes. You'll hear the stories behind the collection, up-to-date news and information on what's happening at the Museum and interviews with key people in the know.
Our Autumn 2016 Edition
Our Autumn 2016 edition is dedicated to our Volunteers and the various means by which they assist the Museum. Our cover story, written By Phil Bonner of Aviation Heritage Lincoln, is dedicated to the Pilot Poet, John Magee - who as an Anglo-American volunteered before America joined the Second World War only to die in tragic circumstances.
In Secret Histories, we turn the spotlight on one of our volunteer guides, who as a RAF Jet Pilot during the Cold War was a member of the Queen's Coronation Flypast in 1953. We also profile various volunteers who received the Museum's thanks during our annual Volunteer Awards Evening and profile Joe Sullivan, the Museum's Heritage Outreach Officer and the work that he has been doing with the local community in London.
