We are looking for a Volunteer Programme Communications Apprentice on a fixed-term basis, to support the Volunteering Team.

As part of the small volunteering team, you will help across the Museum at both sites, working with staff and volunteers, to capture the volunteering activity and experience, demonstrating its positive impact and providing recognition.

You will do this through photography, interviews, evaluation forms, videos.  The content you produce will be used for different platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Wordpress site, membership magazine interviews and articles, email news and reports.

As part of this role you will gain an NVQ Level 3 in Digital Marketing.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and an ability to build rapport and to encourage involvement in producing content for communications. An interest and/or experience in digital marketing would be advantageous. 

The post will be based at the London site. Work at Cosford and other outreach/community sites will be required.

This is a 15-month fixed-term position, working 40 hours per week, any 5 days in 7, including one day release to attend college during term time. Some weekend, bank holiday and evening work will be required.
