Girl Guide Groups – Fun n Flight Badge
A visit to Cosford will assist with learning how aircraft fly and there is the chance to work towards the Fun n Flight Challenge Badge. This badge explores the wonders of flight through science, art and craft.
Our special downloadable trail can be completed during a visit to Cosford and helps everyone work together to complete the ‘visit’ section of the badge. Please pre-book your visit by completing the booking form. To complete the remaining sections of the Challenge Badge please visit the Girlguiding website.

Our onsite Caterers offer “Emergency Rations Pack“ lunches for both children and adults. These can be eaten in the spacious grounds on a warm day or in the Cosford Crewroom. This area is popular with schools and youth groups and must be pre-booked.
The souvenir shop can provide pre-packed Goody Bags to the value of £4.00 and £6.00, including some of our most popular pocket money toys.
For pre-booked Girl Guide groups (20+) there is the option of a ride on the flight simulator at a reduced price of just £3.50 per person. Minimum height requirement of 1.07 metres applies. A group rate of £4.00 per person is available for the 4D Experience.
The RAF Museum organises sleepovers for youth groups on a regular basis. Event dates for our Pillows and Pilots events will be announced here.
Wearing of Facemasks
In accordance with current government guidance about Covid-19 we strongly advise that you wear a face covering in our galleries, restaurant* and shop, unless exempt from doing so.
You do not need to wear one when outside in our green spaces, unless it makes you more comfortable to do so. We would also ask that when in our buildings that our visitors be aware of others around them and where possible maintain a social distance of 1 metre.
*Except when seated.
