The Museum can organise tours for pre-booked groups at a cost of £30 per guide.
Our team of volunteer guides have an interest in aviation and the RAF. If your group would like an in-depth tour of the aircraft including specific technical information, please contact 01902 376 200. Please give as much notice as possible to guarantee availability.
The National Cold War Exhibition
Includes primary information on the aircraft with key facts and statistics such as speed and crew numbers. Brief historical information will be given on the Cold War aircraft including what makes each exhibit unique.
This tour lasts approx 1 hour.
Standard Tour of RAF Museum Cosford
This tour takes in War in the Air, Transport and the Test Flight collections. Your guides will take a party through the wartime hangars picking out highlights such as the world's oldest Spitfire. Brief historical information will be given on the aircraft including what makes the individual exhibits special.
This tour lasts approx 2 hours.
Extended Tour of RAF Museum Cosford
The extended tour is a combination of the standard and National Cold War Exhibition tours. Your guide will be with your party throughout the day and this tour includes a break for lunch and can be tailor made to suit your requirements.
This tour lasts approx 5 hours (including lunch break).
Michael Beetham Conservation Centre
Available to pre-booked groups on Friday afternoons (£5.00 per person, minimum numbers of 6), this is an opportunity to have a guided tour of the aircraft restoration and conservation workshops, an area not normally available to the public. The Conservation Centre is a busy working environment and we would ask you to contact us directly if you are interested in booking a tour.
