Opening Times

Admission to all areas of the Museum is Free of charge. Car Parking charges apply - click here for details.  For a full site visit we recommend you allow a minimum of 3 hours.

The Museum is open every day of the week including bank holiday weekends. 

10.00am - 4.00pm (last entry 3.00pm) applies November - February 

10.00am - 5.00pm (last entry 4.00pm) applies March - October

The Shropshire Scale Model Show will be taking place at Cosford on Sunday 7 April.  This event includes displays in all the Museum Hangars and the site is expected to be very busy.

Please be aware that from time-to-time, some areas of the Museum will have to be closed for Corporate Events. We aim to keep inconvenience to a minimum whilst making as many exhibits available as possible.

The Museum is closed 24-26 December 2019 and 1 January 2020.

Admissions Policy

Animals, other than registered Assistance Dogs accompanying their owners, are not allowed inside any building. Please be aware that there is no parking with shade on a hot day.

For admission purposes and for your safety, we will record your admission.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the Museum at any time.
Personal Photography and filming is permitted, those with commercial requirement please visit the Commercial Photography for more information.

Some charging may be necessary for Holiday Activities.
