Opening Times

Admission to all areas of the Museum is FREE of charge. Car Parking charges apply - click here for details.  For a full site visit we recommend you allow a minimum of 3 hours.

The Museum is open every day of the week including bank holiday weekends. 

10.00am - 4.00pm (last entry 3.00pm) applies November - February 

10.00am - 5.00pm (last entry 4.00pm) applies March - October

Roundel SnowmanDuring the festive season the Museum will be open until Sunday 23 December.  We will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We then re-open from Thursday 27 through to Monday 31 December, from 10.00am to 4.00pm.  We are closed New Year's Day and re-open Wednesday 2 January 2019.

Please be aware that from time-to-time, some areas of the Museum will have to be closed for Corporate Events. We aim to keep inconvenience to a minimum whilst making as many exhibits available as possible.

 

Week Commencing 14 January 2019 - Work will be carried out by a specialist company on a small number of aircraft and is expected to take between 3-4 days to complete.  This will effect the Test Flight, War in the Air and Hangar 1.

Admissions Policy

Animals, other than registered Assistance Dogs accompanying their owners, are not allowed inside any building. Please be aware that there is no parking with shade on a hot day.

For admission purposes and for your safety, we will record your admission.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the Museum at any time.
Personal Photography and filming is permitted, those with commercial requirement please visit the Commercial Photography for more information.

Some charging may be necessary for Holiday Activities.
