A parking charge is payable by visitors to the Royal Air Force Museum’s Cosford site. The income generated is used to assist in meeting the costs of maintaining the Museum’s national collection and of operating its sites.
From 1 February 2020 our car parking fees are:
0-7 Hours – £5.00 per vehicle
Winter Opening hours apply from November to February and the Museum is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm (last entry 3:00pm) during these dates.
Summer Opening hours apply from March to October and the Museum is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm (last entry 3:30pm) during these dates.
Coaches are free of charge
Blue Badge holders – charges apply as above
Parking charges are applicable for visitors arriving on motorbikes. If there is more than one motorbike per bay, please purchase one ticket only.
Change for parking machines may be obtained from the Admissions Desk in the Visitor Centre (glass fronted building). All parking machines accept both card and contactless payment.
Visitors with Assistance Dogs are welcome. Please be aware that there is no parking with shade on a hot day.
Cosford Closure 11 and 29 September 2021
Our site will be closed to the public on both of the above dates for two separate private events. Please do not travel to us on either of these dates, unless you are guests attending or participants of these events as you will be turned away at our main gates. We would like to apologies in advance to any members of the public who had intended to visit us on these dates.
