The second of our four events, offering visitors the exciting chance to get a closer look inside 100 cockpits and vehicles from our collection. These events will take place throughout the year at both sites, and we will open 10-15 aircraft or vehicles each time.
New for 2018; expanding from our usual Open Cockpits evening events 300 lucky ticket holders will have the opportunity to view a wide range of aircraft and vehicles which aren’t usually opened to the public.  The event will allow you to get a feel for what it was like to fly or drive these much-loved machines.

We will be running four events this year; with each event focusing on a different hangar and theme.  We will also be offering visitors the chance to attend the event either in the day or evening during the May and September events.  A separate ticket for the two events can be purchased, or why not take your time and book both events!

RAF100 Appeal LogoAttending the exclusive Open Cockpits and Cabs events is an opportunity to raise vital funds for the RAF100 Appeal, which is a joint venture between the Royal Air Force and the four major RAF charities – the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, the Royal Air Forces Association, the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust and the Royal Air Force Museum. The aim of the Appeal is to raise money for the RAF family and to create a lasting legacy as we celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force.
