2018 Spitfire 10K - Virtual Race

4 - 28 September 2018

Following from the success of the Spitfire 10K we are now launching our Spitfire 10K Virtual Race. For those of you who missed out on the recent Spitfire 10K then this is for you!

Spitfire 10K Medals

Taking part in the virtual race means you have the opportunity to complete the 10K in your own time and wherever and whenever you want – on the road, in the gym, or you can even walk it!

Once you have completed your 10K, all you will need to do is send us your route. This can be done by any of the following: Strava file, Garmin screenshot, screenshot of your watch – anything which shows us that you have done your distance.

We will then send you one of the heavily sought after 2018 Spitfire 10K medals!

The Spitfire 10K Virtual Race will run until Friday 28 September. Please ensure that copies of your route are received by Nice Works who are the Race Management Company by Sunday 30 September.

All those who enter the Spitfire 10K Virtual Race will receive advance notification of 2019 race entry details.

To take part in the virtual race will cost £15.00 per person.

If you are taking part in the Virtual 10K and reside outside of the UK, please choose the ticket that includes postage to Europe or the Rest of the World.

RAF100 Appeal LogoThe Spitfire 10K virtual race forms part of a series of events and activities taking place across the country celebrating and commemorating the history and achievements of the Royal Air Force and inspiring young people. It is also an opportunity to raise vital funds for the RAF100 Appeal, which is a joint venture between the Royal Air Force and the four major RAF charities – the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, the Royal Air Forces Association, the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust and the Royal Air Force Museum. The aim of the Appeal is to raise money for the RAF family and to create a lasting legacy as we celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force in 2018.
