Airfix Make and Take

Join us during February Half Term for our popular Airfix Make and Take.  We will have a number of different models available suitable for seasoned model makers, or those new to Airfix. Models on offer include the Sopwith Pup which can be seen in our First World War in the Air Exhibition. Other kits available will include the Sea Harrier (sold out 22/2/18), Mitsubishi Zero and Albatros. 

Taking place in Hangar 1 Airfix Make and Take is aimed at families with children aged 8 and above. For families with younger children there is a wooden biplane to assemble and decorate together. Participation costs £3.00 per person and all materials will be supplied by the Museum. Tickets can be purchased on the day from the Visitor Centre on arrival or in the shop located in the National Cold War Exhibition.

Please Note: The Airfix activity is not suitable for children under the age of 8. Children will need to be supervised by an adult and may require assistance with the model making.
