NEW for 2020! In association with Fizz Festivals enjoy some of the most popular music; including everything from classical to pop, opera to swing. All held in the unique outdoor setting, with a backdrop of aircraft and historic hangars!
Join us on Saturday 12 September and celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Hosted by BBC Radio Shropshire’s Paul Shuttleworth, we will be bringing you an afternoon and evening filled with 6 hours of music, reminiscent of a night at the Proms. A festival of music, food and fizz, featuring some of the best talent across the country, supported by local acts culminating with a Last Night of the Proms style finale.With music from Beyoncé to Beethoven and Elgar to Elvis, we really do have something for everyone of all ages! Music acts will be announced on here in the coming weeks. Lay out a picnic blanket, or set the scene with table, chairs, and of course Union Jack bunting and hand waving flags!
