Conservation Centre Open Week 2018

The RAF Museum's Conservation Centre will be opening its doors to visitors this November for access to aircraft in our conservation hangar. For one week only, visitors will be able to view progress behind-the-scenes being made on a range of aircraft.
Not only will visitors get the chance to view rare aircraft but the chance to speak to Museum Technicians, Apprentices and Volunteers who will be available throughout the week to speak with visitors about their work and answer any questions you may have on their current projects.
Admission is £5.00 per adult for the Open Week event (Children under 16 accompanied by an adult free)
Please note tickets purchased online includes a 50p booking fee however this is included in the price.
Tickets can also be purchased on arrival from the Visitor Centre on the day.
Serving personnel and Museum Lightning Members are entitled to free admission on production of ID.
Proceeds from the open week will also be an opportunity to raise vital funds for the RAF100 Appeal, which is a joint venture between the Royal Air Force and the four major RAF charities – the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, the Royal Air Forces Association, the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust and the Royal Air Force Museum. The aim of the Appeal is to raise money for the RAF family and to create a lasting legacy as we celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force in 2018.
The Open Week will run 10.15am - 1.00pm.
