Cosford Food Festival

26 - 27 July 2014


This fantastic event is set to return on the weekend of the 26th & 27th July 2014.   A whole host of independent food and drink suppliers from across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands will be exhibiting a wide range of local, fresh and handmade produce.

With cooking demonstrations, food and drink giveaways and entertainment taking place over the weekend, it is sure to be a great day out.  Photo highlights of the 2013 Food Festival can be viewed here.  The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have confirmed a Dakota flypast both days at this year's event.  (2.40pm Saturday and 3.30pm Sunday weather permitting)

In the Talks & Demos area, a number of guests are lined up to share tips and advice on subjects including baking, meat and for those with a sweet tooth - chocolate!  Our guests include local chef Danny Silcock, artisan baker Robert Swift, Shrewsbury based James Sherwin, Tettenhall based Stephen Robinson, Robert Didier and Julia Wenlock of Toot Sweets.

Kidz Kitchen at Cosford Food FestivalFor families with children, the Food Fest will be supported by Kidz Kitchen, an award winning health education company.  Healthy eating and cookery sessions for children will be run both days lasting 45minutes at a time.  The sessions will start at 11.00am, 12.00pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm and participation costs £2.00 per child. A limited number of places are available on a first come first served basis on the day.

PLUS there's more.... a range of musical entertainment will include acoustic performances from Anthony Doyle, Rebecca Grace with JCjazz and other live bands.  The RSPB will be inviting families to join in with some hands on craft activities.

A free park and ride system will operate from the Cosford train station car park. Normal parking charges apply on the museum grounds.

The festival will run from 10am to 5pm each day. 

(Dogs are not permitted inside the food festival unless they are an assistance dog) 

Advanced tickets have now closed - It is still be possible to purchase tickets on the day, cash only please.
