A tasty line-up of over 100 producers will be heading to this year’s Cosford Food Festival. Taking place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July, it promises to serve up fine food and flying machines! 

Held in the spacious grounds at the RAF Museum Cosford, with the VC10 and Hercules aircraft acting as a backdrop to the bustling food market, organisers have lined up delicious food for visitors to enjoy at the festival.

- Over 100 producers of the finest artisan food and drink
- Learn from top chefs during our cooking demonstrations
- Live music performances on two stages throughout the day
- Kids cookery classes, face painting, circus skills
- Gin Flight Masterclass sessions on the VC10

Gin Flight Masterclass

Join us for a first class gin tasting experience! Take your gin knowledge sky high with our on-board gin school, hosted on the RAF Cosford Museum's VC10 airliner! Let the flight be-gin!

Sit back, relax and enjoy a unique gin tasting experience hosted on board a real VC10 aircraft! Hosted by the experts from the Gin Jamboree Gin school & distillery, you will taste and learn about all things Gin! A fabulous session exclusive to the RAF Museum Cosford Food Festival.

 What’s included:

·      History, trivia and fun facts
·      Learn how gin is made
·      Learn about mixers, garnishes and how to serve gin like a pro
·      A tutored tasting of four premium gins

There will be four Gin Flights each day with just 30 places available. Sessions will last 45 minutes and cost £15.00 per person.

Kid's Corner
Packed with entertainment for younger visitors,  Kid's Corner will be offering cookery classes, face painting and circus skills.  This year's Cookery Theatre will be operated by Kiddy Cook who will be delivering a series of workshops.  Classes take place every hour throughout the festival and children will have fun getting hands-on! Each session is 30 minutes long. 

Places at the Kiddy Cook workshops are available both days at the festival and details on each session will be online shortly.

  • Opening hours - 10.00am to 5.00pm (last admission 4.00pm)
  • How to find us - Centrally located with good motorway access from the M54 and M6. Click here for details and directions.
  • Parking - Limited parking available at the Museum including disabled parking. Charges apply of £4.00 for up to 3 hours or £5.00 for the day. Further parking is available at Cosford train station where there will be a free shuttle bus operating to the the festival.
  • Dogs - visitors with Assistance Dogs are welcome in the festival.
