Photography Night Shoot

16 March 2019

External aircraft at RAF Museum Cosford

New for 2019! Join us on Saturday 16 March 2019 from 5.00pm until 9.00pm.

We have teamed up with Threshold Aero to offer a sunset and evening Night Shoot of our external aircraft, including the Bristol Britannia 312 and the Hawker Siddeley Nimrod R.Mk.1.  The aircraft will be lit with LED lights, giving you the opportunity to capture shots of the aircraft in their Museum setting, showcased like never before.

As a special edition to the event, the Scottish Aviation Jetstream T Mk1, usually housed inside Hangar 1, will be displayed outside the hangar, giving photographers more aircraft to capture on the night.  A full list of the aircraft available to shoot for the event are listed below.

The Night Shoot will start at 5.00pm, allowing you the chance to capture at sunset, before the light fades and after dark.  The illuminated aircraft will provide a rare and spectacular photo opportunity.

The event is suitable for all abilities, you don’t need to be a professional photographer to enjoy the event.  A team from Threshold Aero, Museum Staff and Volunteers will be on hand throughout the evening to provide assistance and guidance.

Tickets cost £25.00 per person (including onsite parking fee).  Places are limited and tickets must be purchased in advance.
Please note the event is suitable for over 16’s.
