Bring LEGO®* Creations to life with BRIXO at a free family event!
Published on: 16 November 2017
Date: Saturday 18 November / Saturday 25 November
Time: 10am – 2pm
The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford has teamed up with Tablet Academy to be amongst the first organisations in the UK to introduce BRIXO Conductive Building Bricks to family audiences.
On Saturday 18 and Saturday 25 November, families can have a go for themselves at using the chrome-coated connector bricks to bring their LEGO®* models to life during a free drop in workshop held in the Museum’s National Cold War Exhibition.
BRIXO’s unique connector bricks conduct electricity allowing users to integrate working circuits within their models without any wires. Bricks include LED lights, motor bricks and even sound, light and proximity sensors and are powered by a low voltage Bluetooth controlled built-in battery brick letting users control their creations via the BRIXO App.
BRIXO can help children to understand electricity, design, engineering, programming and the expanding field of Internet of Things (IoT).
Families are invited to build or bring along their own LEGO®* models to the free event and test out the BRIXO bricks, bringing their designs to life.
There will be a competition running throughout the day with a chance to WIN a BRIXO kit to take home. Kits will also be available order at the event on 18 and 25 November. UK stock is rare and limited so don't miss out on being amongst the first to claim your own Brixo Kits. Pre-order online and collect on the day.
The event will run from 10am – 2pm and entrance to both the event and the RAF Museum Cosford is FREE of charge.
