Hangar 1 re-opening throughout August

Exciting news…..Hangar 1 will be re-opening to visitors throughout August between 11.30am – 5.00pm daily.

This hangar is home to the RAF Museum Midlands’s collection of transport and training aircraft, Aero Engines, Art Gallery, History of Cosford, and German Second World War missiles.
 
Over the last year, Hangar 1 has been used to deliver our workshops to school groups in a safe and socially distanced manner. From 1 August and throughout the school break, we will be opening the doors to Hangar 1 to all visitors.

Hangar 1
The Museum will be open daily from 10.00am until 5.00pm, and admission is free. Test Flight, War in the Air and National Cold War Exhibition Hangars are all open from 10.00am, Hangar 1 from 11.30am.
