RAF Museum Cosford Public Events Manager, Abi Betteridge said:
“It might only be the first week of the New Year, but we are already busy preparing for the 2017 events taking place at the RAF Museum Cosford. There will be plenty of aviation events again this year, including the Large Model Aircraft Rally and Open Cockpits Evenings, plus a lunchtime lecture series for enthusiasts. This July will also be the fifth year of the Cosford Food Festival which is now one of our biggest events and in September we will be inviting runners to race across the airfield in the second Spitfire 10K. We also have family activities covering each of the school holidays, which kick start in February with our popular Airfix Make and Take week. We hope that in addition to the aircraft and exhibits on display, the mix of events on offer will appeal to all our visitors, making a day out at the museum even more enjoyable.”
