This summer the Royal Air Force Museum celebrates arguably the greatest aerobatic display team on the planet, the Red Arrows!
If you have ever wondered what it actually feels like to be a Red Arrows Pilot in the centre of a precision aerial display wonder no more. You can now experience all the thrills and exhilaration of being in the cockpit of a Red Arrows Hawk Jet by entering the Royal Air Force Museum's 4 Dimensional Theatres at both London and Cosford.
Combining high-definition 3D video with the added dimension of dynamic seating and special environmental effects, you will be transported directly into the middle of the action as you take directions from Red 1, the leader of the Red Arrows Team, and execute a series of precise aerobatic manoeuvres at lightning fast speeds. The only way that you could have a more realistic experience is by sitting as a passenger in a Red Arrows Jet itself. Each flight will last around 6 minutes and will cost £5 for a single person or £16 for a family ticket (4 people). Tickets may be purchased on arrival either at the Museum’s Main Entrance, at the 4D Theatre itself or at either site’s Museum Shop. So why not discover whether you have what it takes to become a Red Arrow at your next visit?
