A multi-sensory story following a day in the life of a pilot. Explore a range of artefacts, including flight clothing, and try on RAF uniforms at the end.
Hands-on with the Second World War
Groups handle and study a number of objects relating to aviation and the Second World War. Listen to some music from the 1940’s and try on historic RAF uniforms at the end of the session.
Each activity caters for a maximum of 10 pupils (with no maximum number of teachers and assistants) and runs for between 30 and 45 minutes. Workshops cost £20 per session.
We can deliver amended workshops, based on our school activities, for groups with Special Educational Needs.
We also offer touch tours for the visually impaired, as well as tactile handling collections for groups wishing to focus on building social skills.
If you are interested in booking an activity, or would like further information, please contact the team using the contact details given in the information box on the right.
