Airfix: Make and Take
Make and take home your very own Albatros kit!

Entertain the kids this February half term by coming to the RAF Museum to make an Airfix kit! We will be making First World War Albatros's and Sopwith Pups for £3. You'll be given a kit, glue, paints and your very own hangar to take your finished aircraft home in.

Date: Monday 13 - Friday 17 February 2017
Time: 11.00am to 3.00pm
Cost: £3.00 per person

Join us this February Half Term for our annual Airfix Make and Take.  We will have a number of different models available suitable for seasoned model makers, or those new to Airfix.  Kits available will be Albatros and Sopwith Pup. 

Taking place in our First World War in the Air Hangar, Airfix Make and Take is aimed at families with children aged 8 and above, for younger children there is a wooden biplane to assemble and decorate together. Participation costs £3.00 per person and all materials will be supplied by the Museum.  Tickets can be purchased on the day from the reception on arrival.

After building your model, the Museum will be offering participants 10% discount on model kits from the souvenir shop.

Please Note: The Airfix activity is not suitable for children under the age of 8. Children will need to be supervised by an adult and may require assistance with the model making.
