Come and join us in the First World War in the Air Galleries for an Airfix extravaganza. Just drop in and choose the aircraft you want to build, construct and then paint! All materials will be provided by the museum, just purchase your ticket upon arrival. We will have three different models for you to choose:
Please note that Airfix models are not suitable for children under the age of 8, we have a wooden bi-plane for 5-8 year old's to construct and decorate at the same cost.
Children will need to be supervised by an adult at all times, and will require assistance with the model making.
Tickets can be purchased in cash in Hangar 2 or by card in the main visitor reception. No advanced booking is needed, just drop in, but we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the end of the activity. For details of the Cosford Airfix Make and Take event please click here.
The First World War in the Air exhibition is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and BAE Systems.
