Join us on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May to celebrate VE Day 75 with a street party and a nostalgic weekend for the whole family.

’Staff of the Orderly Room celebrating victory in Europe, RAF Andover’

To mark 75 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe we will be celebrating with a party! A weekend of food and fun will be held in our beautiful green space.

Joining the food and drink at the street party will be costumed re-enactors, Vintage Selfie Station, Vintage Fairground stalls and family activities.

  • Try our Afternoon Tea or Cream Teas – you can book them online in advance or buy them on the day.
  • Try on uniform and strike a pose at our Vintage Selfie Station with our RAF Uniforms.
  • Listen to the Merlin Engine Roar at one of our displays
  • Have a go at our make do and mend activities or colour in your very own VE Day Flag
Have a go on the Coconut Saloon, or a Swing Boat or one of our fairground stalls – just £1 a go
  • The giant games will be out on the grass along with our giant deck chairs
  • Saucepans for Spitfires will be running pop-up talks about life on the home front.
  • Our re-enactors will be recreating some of that amazing atmosphere they felt with the end of the war in Europe in 1945
