Virtual Spitfire 10K
25 August - 15 September 2024
The Spitfire Virtual 10k is returning for 2024, meaning runners all over the globe can collect a Spitfire 10k medal and support the RAF Museum.
The virtual race allows you to tailor the racing experience to fit your schedule and ability.
The race takes place between the 25 August and 15 September. You can complete the race at any point during this three-week period.
Runners submit their 10k’s from some cracking locations. We’d love to see your selfies from this year’s Virtual 10k!
How do I enter?
The Spitfire Virtual 10k is now OPEN for entries from across the UK and worldwide.
Once you enter, you’ll be sent a welcome email outlining the key information you need, including start and finish dates. When the challenge begins we’ll send details on how to submit your time.
Once the challenge has finished, our team will send your medal along with your t-shirt (if you have purchased one).
We’ll also send a wrap up email and award prizes for various race leaders and those who send the best images in.
10th Anniversary T-Shirt
Virtual Spitfire 10K T-shirts are available to purchase until Tuesday 10 September through Nice Works website. Ranging is sizes from XS to 2XL these are retailing at £15.00. All Spitfire 10k T-shirts will be home delivered only. Don’t miss out – secure yours before the deadline!

The Spitfire 10k has long been a favourite event for us at the RAF Museum, and we shall miss seeing you run this year. However, you can still run in the name of a Battle of Britain pilot by signing up to our virtual Spitfire 10k. We’d love to keep connected this way; your continued support is invaluable and helps us keep sharing the RAF story now and for future generations. We very much hope to cheer your progress virtually, and to see you back in person next year to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Your support for this event enables the RAF Museum, a registered Charity (charity no. 1197541), to continue telling the inspiring stories of RAF personnel, just like The Few – the courageous Battle of Britain Pilots and Crew who fought in the skies above Britain in 1940 and the continuing story of the RAF.
UK Entry: £20.00
EU Entry: £26.00
Rest of the World Entry: £30.00
All runners of the Virtual Spitfire 10K to be 15 years and older.

Fly high and fundraise!
It’s not too late to fundraise whilst you take part in the Virtual Spitfire 10K. By raising £50 you will help the Museum fly higher, commemorate ‘The Few’ and keep their memory alive. Your support really matters. As a charity, donations from our supporters allow the Museum to continue telling the RAF Story. Once you hit your fundraising target we will send you a very special goody bag.
