First World War in the Air longlisted for National Lottery Awards 2015

Published on: 16 April 2015

We are pleased to inform you that The First World War in the Air exhibition is one of 14 projects (from over 600 entrants) to be longlisted for the National Lottery Awards 2015 and will be considered by a judging panel at the end of May.

The National Lottery Awards celebrate the hard work and dedication of people who are using Lottery funding to change people’s lives. Click here to find out more.

If the judging panel select us as a finalist, there is a five-week public vote between 24 June and 29 July in which we will compete against six other projects in our category. Previous projects have featured on TV programmes such as This Morning and The One Show, on local radio and national newspapers – so this will be a fantastic opportunity for the Museum to be showcased.

If selected as finalists we will let you know and ask that you vote for us. The winning projects will be invited to an awards ceremony in London on 11 September which will be broadcast on BBC One. Fingers crossed!
