Tickets are now available for the RAF100 Conference being held at the Royal Air Force Museum London which has been organised by the Museum in partnership with Birmingham University and Kings College London.

With 2018 marking the centenary of the Royal Air Force this conference will form one of the principal academic contributions to the RAF100 commemoration. It will examine the development of the RAF over the past 100 years and its influence.

Sessions will focus on the following themes:

Fighting the Last War and Preparing for the Next: 19 Sept 
Alliance and Partnerships: 20 Sept AM
Technology, Innovation and Setting the Requirements: 20 Sept PM
Legacy: 21 Sept AM

Keynote speakers will be Chief of the Air Staff Sir Stephen Hillier (Wednesday) and Professor Matthew Jones, author of ‘The Official History of the UK Strategic Nuclear Deterrent’ (Friday). Other confirmed speakers include Dr David Jordan, KCL and Air Cdre Mark Hunt, RAF.

Ticket prices start from £60.00 for a day or £200.00 for all three days plus a three-course delegate dinner on Wednesday evening 19 September.

Tickets may be purchased now.
Concessions apply to RAF Museum Members, Students including PhD students, current RAF personnel and Over 65s. Ticket prices include all refreshments and lunch (where provided) on the day(s) attended and car parking at our London site.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to climb inside some of the Museum’s aircraft cockpits and to view original documents and photographs held within the Museum’s Archive.
