Flight Lieutenant H.B. 'Mick' Martin's Log Book

On 16 May 1943 the nineteen 617 Squadron Lancaster bombers, converted to carry 'UPKEEP' took off from RAF Scampton, beginning their journey to Germany.

Flight Lieutenant H.B. 'Mick' Martin piloted one aircraft flying in the first wave to attack the Möhne Dam. This extract from Martin's Pilots Flying Log Book details the members of his crew as well as basic information about the flight itself.
