The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity, with two sister sites at London and Cosford. RAF Museum Enterprises Ltd is the trading arm of the RAF Museum with all profits gift-aided to the Museum to support its charitable activities. Our purpose is to share the RAF story, past, present and future – using the stories of its people and our collections in order to engage, inform, entertain and inspire everyone. Our Vision is to inspire everyone with the RAF story – the people who shape it and its place in our lives.
We are looking for an experienced Head of Major Projects and Programmes to join the Museum team at an exciting time as we progress our Strategy to 2030. You will support the Senior Leadership Team in the development and delivery of our Museum Master Plan Programmes for Cosford and London through an agreed multi-million-pound portfolio of capital and activity projects.
You will lead and champion the delivery of agreed Major Projects within this portfolio to budget, defined deadlines and to the highest quality standards. You will use effective communications to ensure that all our internal and external stakeholders are kept up to date and engaged with our Programmes.
The post will be based at our Cosford site and work across all three Museum sites as required. Working elsewhere in the UK and abroad may be necessary.
