We are proud to have attended the 2025 Carbon Literate Organisation (CLO) Awards hosted by The Carbon Literacy Project on Thursday 12 June at the Contact Theatre in Manchester!

The night brought together a vast range of sectors – from communication specialists to construction and culture organisations – all committed to embedding climate action in how they operate.

Receiving our Silver Carbon Literate Organisation award is an important moment for the Royal Air Force Museum. It reflects our commitment to embedding climate action into every level of our work – from our teams / communities / operations / supply chain and beyond. We left the ceremony feeling inspired and motivated to do even more.

This gave our team a shared sense of accomplishment and confidence in our climate journey, which has prepared us to act together in our workplace and individually in our personal lives.

Moving forward, we plan to work towards the Gold accreditation. We are privileged to be a Silver CLO!
