Egg-citing fun awaits at the RAF Museum this Easter

Families are invited to enjoy an egg-citing Easter break at the RAF Museum Midlands, with a programme of activities running from 30 March to 10 April. Packed with hands-on experiences, the Museum’s Easter offering is perfect for those who love chocolate, animals and creative crafts. Discover what’s happening each day and plan your visit here.

Take part in The Great Egg Hunt, an exciting indoor trail designed especially for younger visitors. Explore the Museum as you search for hidden eggs and uncover 11 secret letters along the way. Crack the final code word and be rewarded with a delicious chocolate egg for your egg-cellent detective work. Join The Great Egg Hunt for just £3 per person.

Animal lovers won’t want to miss RAF Animals and Friends! an interactive, hour-long experience that brings history to life. Visitors will discover the important role animals have played in the RAF, from the past to the present day. Get up close to a fascinating range of animals, with different species featured each day – from owls, snakes, lizards and even a curious kinkajou. This unique encounter promises to be a memorable experience for all ages. Book your place to see the animals for £5 per person.

RAF Animals and Friends

Get creative in our family friendly Build a Bird Box workshop. Choose from three seasonal designs – an egg, chick or rabbit, and learn how bird boxes support local wildlife. With guidance from the Museum’s friendly team, participants will build and decorate their own creation to take home, giving garden birds a safe new place to nest. Create a bird box for your garden for just £5 per person.
