The Royal Air Force Museum is proud to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award by the Ministry of Defence, in recognition of its outstanding support for the Armed Forces community.
This honour reflects the Museum’s continued dedication to supporting those who serve, both through inclusive employment practices and the powerful storytelling embedded in our exhibitions and educational programmes. The Gold Award is the highest accolade granted under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) and acknowledges organisations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to the Covenant’s values.
“We are honoured to receive confirmation from the Ministry of Defence that the RAF Museum will be awarded the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award. This recognition reflects our long-standing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community, both within our workforce and through the stories we share with our visitors every day. It is a privilege to play a role in preserving and promoting the legacy of the Royal Air Force, and we remain steadfast in our dedication to upholding the values of the Covenant.
On behalf of the Museum, I extend my sincere thanks to all those who have helped us achieve this distinction.”
