On Thursday 10 and Friday 11 September 2026, the RAF Museum will once again welcome postgraduate students, early-career and established researchers to the RAF Museum’s 2026 conference.
Hosted at the Royal Air Force Museum, London, this two-day conference will critically examine the entanglements of Air Power, counterinsurgency and humanitarianism. This conference will be interdisciplinary and will host scholars working on topics that relate to air forces, their personnel and technologies, the economies and societies with which they interact, the conflicts in which they have engaged, and the global and international context with which they are connected.
A Call for Papers will be released shortly, with tickets going on sale over the course of the summer.
If you have any questions, or wish to discuss the conference, please email the RAF Museum’s Historian and Academic Access Manager Dr Megan Wang via ResearchNews@rafmuseum.org.
