The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity, with two sister sites at London and Midlands. The Museum Cashier will deliver regular reconciliation of income streams, accurate data analysis, providing consistently high standards of professionalism and actively support strategic priorities of the museum especially in relation to commercial activities and cash handling.
The position requires excellent numerical skills with a positive aptitude and an eye for detail.
This role is permanent, working 962.5 hours annually. The working hours each week will be dependent on business requirements (maximum 35 hours per week during the peak season (main public event programmes) and minimum 14 hours per week during the off peak winter season). You will work a flexible pattern which will include occasional weekends and bank holidays.
The roles will be based at our Midlands site.
