About the role

The Royal Air Force Museum is currently welcoming applications for five trustee positions.

The Royal Air Force Museum is a National Museum, a Government executive Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB) and a registered charity. As a National Museum we are looking for trustees with a diverse range of opinions and experiences to guide our ambitious Strategy 2030

The Museum is outward focused and people centred, and our vision is to inspire everyone with the RAF story – the people who shape it and its place in our lives. We welcome almost a million visitors per annum to our two sites in London and the Midlands, and deliver creative engagement programmes onsite, online and out in our communities.

We particularly welcome applications from individuals from black and minority ethnic communities and from across our four Nations. Most of all we need you to have an interest in the RAF and a passion for museums and their ability to inspire every one of us.
