Nestled amongst aircraft in the Bomber Command Exhibition, a special screening of ‘WWII: I Was There’ will share first-hand accounts from those who lived through the Second World War. This powerful BBC documentary series offers a deeper understanding of the bravery and resilience of a generation. Screenings run throughout the day from 25-29 May.

After exploring the Museum hangars, step outside where you’ll find an RAF themed playground with aircraft for children to climb onboard. The family fun continues in Flight Zone, packed with immersive experiences for all ages. Fly with the Red Arrows in the thrilling 4D Theatre, take a 360° Spitfire VR flight, pilot a Eurofighter Typhoon simulator, or experience the sensation of gliding through the air on the ParadropVR.
