Opening Times

Our Cosford site is open every day of the week, including Bank Holiday weekends. Get ready for take-off and pre-book your free timed entry now. 

The RAF Museum Cosford will be closed on 6 January due to electricity works taking place.

Admission to all areas of the Museum is FREE of charge and donations are welcome. Car Parking charges apply – click here for details. For a full site visit we recommend you allow a minimum of 3-4 hours.

10.00am – 4.00pm applies November – February

10.00am – 5.00pm applies March – October

While we are open some of our areas may be closed to assist the promotion of safe social distancing. Please be aware that from time-to-time, some areas of the Museum will have to be closed for Corporate Events. We aim to keep inconvenience to a minimum whilst making as many exhibits available as possible.

The Museum is closed 24-26 December 2022 and 1 January 2023.

Admissions Policy

Animals, other than registered Assistance Dogs accompanying their owners, are not allowed inside any building. Please be aware that there is no parking with shade on a hot day.

For admission purposes and for your safety, we will record your admission.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the Museum at any time.

Some charging may be necessary for Holiday Activities.

Wearing of Facemasks

Please note:

In accordance with current government regulations you must now wear a face covering in our galleries, restaurant* and shop, unless exempt from doing so.

You do not need to wear one when outside in our green spaces, unless it makes you more comfortable to do so. We would also ask that when in our buildings that our visitors be aware of others around them and where possible maintain a social distance of 1 metre.
