Admission to all areas of the Museum is Free of charge and donations are welcome. Car Parking charges apply – click here for details. For a full site visit we recommend you allow a minimum of 3-4 hours.
A41 Road Closure 19 July – 14 August 2021
If travelling along the Newport A41 road or joining it from M54 Junction 3 please follow the brown signs for RAF Museum.
The road is still open to access the Museum.
If travelling along the Albrighton bypass from Wolverhampton please follow the diversion signs.
Museum Site Closed - 29 September 2021
Please be aware that the RAF Museum Cosford site will be closed to the public on the 29 September 2021 for the Forces in STEM educational event. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Our Cosford site is now open every day of the week, including Bank Holiday weekends. Get ready for take-off and pre-book your free timed entry now. We look forward to welcoming back.
10.00am – 5.00pm (last entry 4:00pm) applies March – October
10.00am – 4.00pm (last entry 3:00pm) applies November – February
While we are open some of our areas will be closed to assist the promotion of safe social distancing.
Please be aware that from time-to-time, some areas of the Museum will have to be closed for Corporate Events. We aim to keep inconvenience to a minimum whilst making as many exhibits available as possible.
The Museum is closed 24-26 December 2020 and 1 January 2021.
Animals, other than registered Assistance Dogs accompanying their owners, are not allowed inside any building. Please be aware that there is no parking with shade on a hot day.
For admission purposes and for your safety, we will record your admission.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to the Museum at any time.

Some charging may be necessary for Holiday Activities.
Wearing of Facemasks
We strongly recommend that all visitors wear a face covering when visiting our galleries, shop and restaurant* unless they were previously exempt from doing so. You will not need to wear one when outside in our green spaces, unless it makes you more comfortable to do so. We would also ask that when in our buildings that our visitors be aware of others around them and where possible maintain a social distance of 1 metre.
