Milestones of Flight closed from 16 October until summer 2018
Published on: 13 October 2017
We will be closing our Milestones of Flight Gallery on Monday 16 October so to start the enabling works for the fitting-out of a new permanent exhibition, the working title of which is ‘The RAF in an Age of Uncertainty’.
We would like to apologise in advance for any disappointment that this may cause.
This exhibition will open to the public in summer 2018, and will examine the RAF’s recent history from the Falklands campaign to the modern day.

Members of the public will be able to access our First World War in the Air exhibition, located in the Claude Grahame-White Watch Office and Factory, by taking the new pathway that runs alongside Milestones of Flight. This pathway will be open to the public from Monday 16 October.

Please note, that we will still have limited parking at our London site throughout October whilst we complete landscaping works as part of our Royal Air Force Centenary 2018 Transformation Programme. Please use public transport to visit us, as we will be unable to guarantee a parking space during periods of high demand.
