Travel back in time this May half term for an unforgettable day of excitement and discovery at the RAF Museum Midlands.

This event highlights the importance that World War Two had on our development of technology, engineering, and community. Join us to commemorate this important period in our history.

What’s happening across the Museum

Throughout the week we have exciting activities for all ages. Entry to the Museum is free but some activities have a cost.

For young Aviators (Ages 10+)

  • Build your own model air shelter, dress up, and brave a thrilling air raid simulation! 
  • See the Vintage Valor Models up close. On display 24 – 25 May
  • Solve clues on our Spy Hunter Trail.

For Little Flyers (Ages 5+)

  • Build the fastest Lego racers
  • Make and take a wartime campaign poster.

For Everyone

  • Dress up at our drill sergeant selfie station 
  • Hear audio stories told by Antis the dog and Percy the Penguin.

  • The world’s oldest Spitfire alongside a Hurricane
  • Take a selfie in an exact replica of a Second World War Spitfire cockpit (charges apply)
  • Pop on your VR goggles and transport yourself into the cockpit of a real Spitfire and take a flight in 360°! (charges apply)
