About Volunteering

Our volunteers come from all walks of life, giving their time to help us fulfil our vision of inspiring everyone with the RAF Story – the people who shape it and its place in our lives.

We hope that our volunteer roles open up opportunities to:

  • Contribute skills, time and enthusiasm;
  • Connect with a diverse group of people as part of the RAF Museum family;
  • Create meaningful experiences for our visitors and volunteers alike.

We believe in volunteers and paid staff working as one team. The range of skills, experience and expertise volunteers bring makes us stronger as an organisation.
