Spitfires, Mustangs, Messerschmits and Hurricanes build them all at the RAF Museum’s Airfix Model Club!

Starting with the iconic Supermarine Spitfire, each weekend will see participants build a different aircraft.
- January 24th & 25th (Supermarine Spitfire)
- February 7th & 8th (Mustang)
- March 21st & 22nd (Messerschmitt)
- April 25th & 26th (Red Arrows Hawk)
- May 9th & 10th (Fokker E.11)
- June 13th & 14th (Mitsubishi Zero)
- July 4th & 5th (Curtiss Warhawk)
- September 26th & 27th (Hawker Hurricane)
- October 10th & 11th (Gloster Gladiator)
- November 14th & 15th (De Havilland Tiger Moth)

Airfix Model Club is designed for participants of all ages to come together to build their aeroplanes. So if you are seasoned aircraft assembler or just after a new hobby, Airfix Model Club is the place to be!

Everyone will receive an engineer’s licence that can track your progress. Will you earn all 10 stamps?
Better still, show your engineer’s licence in the RAF Museum shop to receive a 10% discount on all Airfix kits!
Recommended age for Airfix Model Club is 8+.
Adults won’t need their own tickets but must remain with their children throughout the session.
