General Opening Hours
Admission to all areas of the Museum is Free of charge and donations are welcome.
10.00am - 5.00pm (last entry 3.30pm) applies November - February
10.00am - 5.00pm (last entry 3.30pm) applies March - October
Last admission to the Museum is 3.30pm. Please note, vehicles may not park on our site before 10.00am, unless part of a pre-booked group.
Museum opening times are subject to alteration. Please refer to our London homepage before setting off on your journey.

Wearing of Facemasks
We strongly recommend that all visitors wear a face covering when visiting our galleries, shop and restaurant* unless they were previously exempt from doing so. You will not need to wear one when outside in our green spaces, unless it makes you more comfortable to do so. We would also ask that when in our buildings that our visitors be aware of others around them and where possible maintain a social distance of 1 metre.
*Except when seated.

Every effort is made to keep the entire Museum open during scheduled opening times, is not always possible for health and safety reasons. We are not always able to give advance notification of any closures. We apologise for an inconvenience that this may cause.
Our London site will be closed 24 - 26 December 2021 and 1 January 2022.
Please note: On 15 September Hangars 3,4,5 will be closed to the public while we set this area up for a special dinner commemorating 'The Few' later that evening.
