The session, based in our art gallery, will focus on three works from the Museum’s art collection. We’ll be sharing the history of the works and their creators alongside the opportunity to try different artistic mediums from collage to clay inspired by the artwork.
This session is designed to enable people living with early-stage dementia and their carers and companions to experience the RAF Museum through an engaging and relaxed workshop style session.
The session will be led by a member of staff from the Museum’s Learning & Engagement Team. The RAF Museum London is an accredited Dementia Friendly Venue. This session is for people living with dementia and their carer or companion to enjoy together.
The art session will last approximately one hour with lots of opportunities to get hands on with different artistic mediums and materials.
