Bring your Brownies, Guides and Rainbows to the RAF Museum for inspiring, badge-linked experiences designed especially for Girlguiding groups. Choose from hands-on events at the Museum or resources you can enjoy at your own meeting.
At the Museum
We run dedicated Girlguiding events on selected Saturdays throughout the year, led by the Museum’s Learning team and designed to be engaging, active and age-appropriate.
Brownies Aviation Badge Event
Saturday 6 June 2026
A hands-on day supporting Brownies to complete their Aviation Badge. Activities include sketching RAF aircraft in the galleries, completing aviation-themed trails and taking part in a parachuting experiment workshop.
Suitable for Brownies (7–10 years).
Cost: £5 per child, including the Aviation Badge.
Black History Month Badge Girlguiding Event
Saturday 24 October 2026
Celebrate Black History Month by exploring the stories of Black role models in the Royal Air Force. Guides will enjoy an interactive presentation, handle museum objects and complete a themed Museum trail before receiving their badge.
Suitable for Guides (10–14 years).
Cost: £5 per child, including the Black History Month Girlguiding Badge.

Enhance your visit with our free online Scouts and Guides Trail, featuring aviation challenges, phonetic alphabet fun and photo opportunities around the Museum.
Lunch space and experiences
A lunch space may be available for your unit to eat packed lunches – please request this when booking.
Special group discounts may be available for the 4D Theatre and Flight Simulator. Enquire about availability and pricing when booking.
At one of your meetings
Bring the Museum to your unit with our ‘Fantastic Flight’ video, ideal for Rainbows. The video explores how planes fly and how aircraft designs have changed over time.
Cost: £20 per video.
