Family Sci-Fi Fun this October Half-Term!
Take off into the world of Jets and Space this half term! With trails, shows, aircraft access and hands-on activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
What’s happening across the Museum
Throughout the week we have exciting activities for all ages. Entry to the Museum is free, but some activities have a cost.
For Young Astronauts (Ages 8+)
- Climb into the cockpit of the Jet Provost – the world’s first jet trainer.
For Little Flyers (Ages 4+)
- Race your own robot and learn simple coding skills.
- Create colourful balloon planets and launch your own mini spaceship.
- Step inside the Space Odyssey Planetarium for a live, interactive show that’s out of this world.
For Everyone
- Groove to the Moon with live funk, jazz and rock music.

- Explore aircraft up close and enjoy interactive family fun all week long.
Spaces for activities are limited – book early and join the adventure!
*Jet and Space Week’s activities are aimed at children 3 to 12 but astronauts of any age are more than welcome to attend!
