National Cold War Exhibition/Hangar 1
This tour includes the National Cold War Exhibition (as above) and Hangar 1. In Hangar 1 visitors will be introduced to the transport and training aircraft which includes some of the smallest and the largest machines flown by the Royal Air Force. You will also view the German Second World War missiles.
This tour lasts approx 2 hours. Cost £55.00
National Cold War Exhibition/Test Flight/War in the Air
This tour takes in the National Cold War Exhibition, Test Flight and War in the Air collections. Our guides will take your party through the hangars picking out highlights such as the three V Bombers, TSR 2 and the world’s oldest Spitfire. Brief historical information will be given on the aircraft including what makes the individual exhibits special.
This tour lasts approx 3 hours (including a break). Cost £65.00
RAF Museum Grand Site Tour
This tour takes in the National Cold War Exhibition, Hangar 1, Test Flight and War in the Air. Our guides will take your party through the hangars picking out highlights such as the V Bombers, TSR 2, the world’s oldest Spitfire and the German Second World War missiles. Brief information will be given on the aircraft including what makes the individual exhibits special.

Wearing of Facemasks
We strongly recommend that all visitors wear a face covering when visiting our galleries, shop and restaurant* unless they were previously exempt from doing so. You will not need to wear one when outside in our green spaces, unless it makes you more comfortable to do so. We would also ask that when in our buildings that our visitors be aware of others around them and where possible maintain a social distance of 1 metre.
*Except when seated.
