The Community Engagement team work on a wide range of projects, events and workshops with and for the local community. You may see our team working with a youth group onsite to develop a new placemat for use in our site restaurant, hosting our open family Iftar or taking our spitfire cockpit out on tour to a nearby city centre.

There is so much to do and be involved with in the Community team. To see what we are doing have a look at the upcoming events.
Upcoming Events:
- Thursday, 15 January 2026 – Digital Skills for Museum, Gallery or Public Attraction Workers
- Wednesday, 25 February 2026 – Digital Literacy and Accessibility Workshop
Get Involved:
The Blitz in the Black Country:
We are looking for members of the public to donate their stories, experiences, objects or photographs of the Blitz in the Black Country to contribute to the community exhibition “The Blitz”.
The Community Exhibition “The Blitz” will explore past and present experiences of displacement. For the past we will explore the effects of the Blitz in the Black Country. For the present we are exploring modern displacement from the on-going events in Ukraine.
Donations:
We are looking for members of the public to donate/loan their stories, experiences, objects or photographs of the Blitz in the Black Country to contribute to the community exhibition “The Blitz”. These donations will support the exhibition by enhancing the lived local experience using real life objects and experiences from the community.
